This is kind of off subject but I found a company that sell a 2824 compatible NO DATE movement. The Stelleta sw200-1b I like to use 2824 movements, but the issue with building a watch with no date and having that 3rd position and running complication drives me insane. The one OP used has a day window that looks closer to a Tudor Date-Day dial, i.e. it would work with a 2834 or a 2813 day-date movement as OP used. But Raffles' current dials have windows that match the genuine windows. So anybody wanting to do this build with a current dial from Raffles will need to use day and date wheel overlays to make it work. Or at least a link to the Raffles dial so people don't have to go hunting for it. Generally speaking Raffles dials are a little better than "entry level" quality but easily detected as fake by anyone with good knowledge of Rolex parts. That doesn't mean you can't use one and be happy with it. I probably have 5 or 6 reps with Raffles dials.

The raffles case is almost perfect. The font on the engraving on the caseback is slightly off, but apart from that, it's great. The bracelet is really good quality with a solid clasp. The raffles dials are ok, but if at some point you can get a gen dial, it really makes the watch a keeper. Ebay throws a dial up sometimes but you have to be patient.

It's doable to fit a 3135 movement into a 36mm raffles case for 2824 with lug holes. To give you a glue i add some pictures here, where you can see such a case with a genuine Rolex 16200 dial on an SH3135. The genuine 16200 dial is from 1990 and about 28mm in diameter, while the case can take up to 29mm. (older datejust dials might be smaller . Mounting the dial is easy (make sure to buy a dial with 29mm and feet that go with the 2824-2 movement that the Steinhart uses - If you buy the dial at Raffles Dials it's easy). You just need to loosen the feet holders, take off the steinhart dial and then put the Rolex one. After that you tighten the feet holders and the dial will rest in place.
